Hiring all schedule types across Northeast Ohio including:

Akron, Canton, Massillon, Uniontown, North Canton, Wadsworth, Medina, Cleveland, Euclid, Strongsville, and Youngstown.

Consistant Schedule

These are employees who are looking for weekly shifts; whether short-term, or long-term.

Same-Day Schedule

This is for employees looking to pick up traditional substitute shifts on the days that work for them. The shifts range from 4 to 9 hour days.

Flex Schedule

This is for employees who may have other commitments and would like to pick-up shifts on an as needed basis, whether weekly, monthly, or seasonally.

FAQ’s

  • Welcome! Please naviage to our career page. This is received by our recruiter, Ms. Patience! You can email her to check on your application: Patience@sunflower-subs.com

  • This varies based on days and times requested from our partner centers. Typical hours range from 25-40 hours, but you can work as little as 1 day a week. We try to match your desired schedule with the needs of our centers.

  • You are on Team Sunflower, so we take care of everything! We pay you based on the hours you worked the previous week and are paid every Friday.

  • As a full-time employee (30 hrs/wk ) and after you first 90 days, you are eligible for health insurance including dental and vision, life insurance, 401k matching, earned PTO immediately that you can use at any time, and our health and wellness reimbursement. All employees are eligible for holiday and birthday pay (after 90 days) as well as paid bereavement and maternity leave. All employees can also benefit from our referral program, where you can earn $100+ per referral!

  • Yes! We hire experienced educators from all walks of life. Whether you are a college student, K-12 teacher, or a parent who can only work “school months” we work with you! You’re knowledge is valuable anytime of the year!

  • We look for educators who have had at least 1 years experience in a child care or daycare setting. To be successful you will need to be able to understand and live by our core values: Be Adaptable, Bring Kindness, and Build Trust!
